Services

In the Evening of Life is a project of The Good Death Institute, Inc., a non-profit organization (501C3) founded in 1998 by Peggy Flynn MA and others as an outgrowth of 40 years of active hospice care and negotiating family dynamics around health issues. Each life is unique. Each death is unique.

Geriatric Care Consulting

Dealing with the realities of aging, illness or disability is never easy for those undergoing the experience or for those providing care.

But once the right questions are asked and the limitations identified, it becomes possible to plan for likely outcomes and to avoid potential pitfalls.

Obtaining a comprehensive, holistic overview of the situation makes it possible to plan a course of action that creates a safe environment for all concerned.

Spiritual Direction

I meet with individuals in person in Milwaukee or via telephone in North America to discuss the spiritual dynamics at work in your life. How is this most intimate and profound relationship with the Holy understood, entered into, and nurtured? What happens when God seems distant, absent, unavailable?

If you are looking to deepen your spiritual practice or seeking beliefs and practices that are in synch with who you are—-especially in the evening of life—a spiritual guide can make a difference.

To initiate a conversation about spiritual direction, email a brief statement to me summarizing your situation and what you would hope to gain through this relationship. Please include your phone number and I will call you to discuss a possible appointment (cost, date and time).
